London Hosts MMGY Global’s Mojo Summit EMEA

News

As one of the signature events hosted by MMGY Global, Mojo Summit EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) brought together thought leaders in the travel and hospitality industry for a think tank–style event. Held at the historical Museum of London Docklands in early November, invitees rubbed elbows with other C-suite executives as they addressed key topics influencing the travel industry.

In addition to networking events, invitees were treated to a state of travel presentation by Caroline Moultrie, MMGY Global President, EMEA, as well as panels led by seasoned industry professionals covering a range of topics.

Panel participants discussed overtourism, the reality of inclusive marketing and evolving definitions that affect every aspect of the travel industry. In her state of travel address, Caroline noted that with five generations travelling, adjusting strategies to reach these different consumers is vital to ongoing destination success.

A roundtable on inclusivity, responsibility and shared experiences, moderated by sponsors Expedia Group™ Media Solutions, Sojern, Wanderlust, Travelzoo and Northstar Travel Group, facilitated discussions about the specific needs of underrepresented traveller segments and how the travel industry can serve – and benefit from – these communities.

“The roundtable discussions underscored an essential truth: Inclusivity, sustainability and responsible travel and tourism aren’t just ideals – they’re growth strategies for the future of our industry,” shared Justin Farmer, EVP of Growth for MMGY.

This annual event fosters innovation, collaboration and community for industry thought leaders and decision-makers across the EMEA region. “Mojo Summit is the ultimate space to connect with like-minded professionals, share ideas and discover what’s next in travel and tourism,” said Caroline. “This year’s event has been nothing short of exhilarating, showcasing the power of our sector to unite and innovate for the future.”

While the next EMEA event is a year away, Mojo Summit Americas is set for early April 2025 and will take place in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina, nestled among the Blue Ridge Mountains. A save the date for this invitation-only event will be sent out in January, so keep a watchful eye out for yours.
